Bonnie Ruberg

Bonnie Ruberg is a PhD candidate at the University of California, Berkeley, where she works across the departments of New Media, Gender and Women's Studies, and Comparative Literature. Her work focuses on gender, sexuality, and technology, and she has published and spoken widely about the intersection of queer theory and video games. She is the executive organizer of the annual Queerness and Games Conference, the co-founder of Berkeley's Game Design Workshop, and the lead editor of the volume Queer Game Studies: Gender, Sexuality, and a Queer Approach to Games Studies. Her research interests also include literature, history of art, the Digital Humanities, and fan studies.
