John Vanderhoef

John Vanderhoef is a Ph.D. student in the Department of Film and Media Studies at the University of California, Santa Barbara. His research interests include issues of gender, race, and sexuality as they relate to digital games and digital game cultures. He also works with taste hierarchies, creative labor, and media industry practices. He currently serves as the Graduate Research Assistant for the Media Industries Project.
