Rachel Alpha Johnston Hurst

Rachel Alpha Johnston Hurst is an associate professor of Women’s and Gender Studies at St. Francis Xavier University in Antigonish, Nova Scotia. Her research is broadly concerned with the relationships between embodiment, (visual) culture, and power, from the perspectives of psychoanalysis and decolonial thought.
